Who We Are

The Birmingham Upholstery Collective is a group of individuals with a shared enthusiasm for rescuing tired and unloved vintage and antique furniture. We specialise in traditional upholstery, with a modern twist, making pieces suitable for the modern home. Although, we describe ourselves as amateurs, between us we have over 60 years of upholstery experience.

We have a workshop - it is cool because all workshops are inherently cool. You can find our workshop in the The Old Print Works in Birmingham, come and see us on the second Saturday each month to discuss all your chair-related queries.
